Gyanodaya Bal Batika School (GBBS) defeated Swarnim School 24-10 in the boys’ final of the Rato Bangala Junior Invitational School Basketball Tournament, here today. Sudev Limbu of GBBS and Rikesh Shrestha of Swarnim scored eight points each and Kiran KC netted five points for the winners. In girls’ section, Rato Bangala School (RBS) ‘A’ defeated RBS ‘B’ 37-18 on Saturday to win the trophy. And Prithvi School finished third in both categories. In all, 13 teams — nine in boys’ section and four in girls’ section — took part in the tournament. Director of Rato Bangala School Shanta Dixit gave away prizes.
