KATHMANDU, AUGUST 30

The Indian national men's football team has arrived in Nepal today to play friendly fixtures in Nepal.

Captain of the Indian team Sunil Chhetri along with his 25-member squad touched town today at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu.

Chhetri said his team which has the prominence of young players is excited to go head to head with Nepal.

India is scheduled to play Nepal on 2nd and 5th September at the Dashrath Rangashala football stadium in Tripureshwor.

The friendly matches have been organised in course of preparation for the upcoming South Asian Football Federation Championship or SAFF Championship to be held in Maldives.
