KATHMANDU: Shanker Dev Campus is organising the BBC Cup Cricket and BIM Cup Cricket from May 13-24 at the Mulpani cricket grounds.

As per the rules of the tournaments, defending champions Shanker Dev Campus are the organisers of the tournaments and it has given the event management responsibility to Chand Brothers Pvt Ltd, owned by national football team midfielder Rohit Chand and his brother Ravindra.

A total of 26 college teams — 19 in BBA and seven in BIM — will take part in the tournament, informed the organisers at a press meet on Friday.

Top two teams in BBA tournament will earn Rs 70,000 and Rs 35,000, while the winners and runners-up in BIM section will get Rs 30,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
