KATHMANDU: Odyssey Academy, Basundhara National Academy, Anupam, Nepal Model, Innovative, Golden Peak, Angels’ Heart and Mount Glory advanced to the junior boys’ section quarter-finals of the ninth Odyssey Cup Inter-school Basketball Tournament here on Thursday.

Hosts Odyssey defeated NIBS 22-11 riding on 11 points from Amit Lama, while Nishan Thapa netted eight points in Basundhara’s 21-8 victory over Kathmandu Xavier.

In other matches, Anupam defeated Prithivi 20-10, Nepal Model beat NOBS 20-19, Innovative outplayed Daffodil 22-8, Golen Peak registered a 32-16 victory over Laligurans, Angels’ Heart edged past Reliance 23-13 and Mount Glory overwhelmed Greenland 29-8.
