KATHMANDU: Anoj Khadka and Sushma Yadav of Budhanilkantha School won gold medals of the third Chelsea Inter-school Road Race here on Sunday.

Khadka finished the 4.5km race in 16.51 minutes to finish first in boys' section ahead of fellow Budhanilkantha mates Bijay Budha Magar (16.52) and Vivek Lama (16.53). Yadav won girls' section race in 21.41 minutes finishing ahead of her Budhanilkantha mate Sujata KC (22.37).

Highly Creative's Savyata Khadka was third in 23.40. Budhanilkantha bagged the overall team championship with 19 points.

A total of 350 students from 20 schools took part in the event organised by Chelsea World School, informed ECA In charge Rajan Neupane.

Gokarneshwor Municipality Mayor Deepak Kumar Risal, legendary marathon runner and Olympian Baikuntha Manandhar, Founder Principal of Chelsea Sudhir Kumar Jha, management committee president Ananda Aditya handed over prizes to the winners.
