Suvash Chandra Adhikari, the winner of the Carlsberg win a Trip to Liverpool, said watching an English Premiership match was a dream come true for him.

“It was a dream come true for a common Nepali like me to see the English Premier League match from the special cabin at Anfield,” said Adhikari, who won a chance to watch the Liverpool vs Birmingham City match at Anfield on September 22.

“Many people know me as the lucky winner of the campaign run by Carlsberg. Many people congratulated me while many are still envious that why they did not win it. It was an envious trip,” said Adhikari today.

Adhikari, who hails from Khanalthok VDC, Kavrepalanchok, also got the opportunity to present the man of the match award to Javier Mascherano of Liverpool after the goalless draw match. “To get a chance to give the man of the match award was the most exciting part of the trip,” he added.

“Throughout the tour, I knew a lot about being a true football fan and also enjoyed being a true fan. I realised true football craze when I saw that match Live amid 70 thousand roaring fans. There I saw a distinct discipline and standard of the football fans in one of the best football leagues,” said Adhikari, thanking Carlsberg for providing such an opportunity.
