NUWAKOT: Shree Souvenir School, Orchid Academy and Ranabhuwanesori HS School registered wins in the first Jalpa Fresh District-level Inter-school Cricket Tournament on Thursday.

Shree Souvenir defeated Global Bhairabi Academy by 41 runs riding on 31 runs and four wickets from man-of-the-match Bibek Sapkota.

Likewise, Orchid beat Goodwill Academy by two wickets and Ranabhuwanesori outplayed Shree Souvenir by seven wickets in other matches. A total of five teams are taking part in the tournament organised by Nuwakot District Cricket Association. After the round-robin league, top two teams will advance to the final.
