KATHMANDU: Jiwan Limbu took the lead after the first day of the Himalayan Bank Cup Golf Tournament here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club on Friday.

Played under stableford ¾ handicap format, the 14-handicap amateur golfer accumulated 38 points. SSP Rajendra Shrestha and Kanchan Basnyat earned 35 points to share the second position, followed by Samir Acharya (34).

A total of 33 players completed their rounds on Friday, while another 60 golfers will play on Saturday.
