KATHMANDU: Nepal Judo Association opened the Everest Khumbu Judo Dojo in Chaurikharka of Solukhumbu district. NJA General Secretary Dharma Kumar Shrestha took the initiation for the project and it was opened on Monday. Former judo player Kaji Sherpa has started providing training for 19 students at the dojo, which is situated at an altitude of 2850 metres. Yukata Judo Dojo of Japan donated the mat for the dojo, while DHL and Yeti Airlines sponsored the transportation costs to send it to Solukhumbu, informed Shrestha in release on Monday.
