BHAIRAHAWA: Kamal Bhandari won the above-35 veteran singles title of the first Open National Lawn Tennis Tournament here on Monday.

Bhandari defeated Rohit Sunar 6-2, 6-2 in the final match. In the above-55 veteran singles final, Krishna Ghale beat Kamal Thapa 6-2, 2-6, 10-7.

On Tuesday, Pranav Khanal will take on Santosh Khatri in the men’s singles final, while Rana siblings Mayanka and Mahika have made it to the women’s final.
