POKHARA: The Province No 4 government announced a reward of Rs 100,000 to cricketer Karan KC for playing crucial role in guiding Nepal national cricket team to the ICC World Cup Qualifiers to be hosted by Zimbabwe from March 4-25.

KC scored an unbeaten 42 runs and shared 51-run partnership with Sandeep Lamichhane to beat Canada by one wicket in the must-win match of the ICC World Cricket League Division-II in Namibia last week.

Meanwhile, Commerce and Supplies Minister of Province 4 Ram Sharan Basnet honoured KC during a programme organised by Western Regional Sports Development Committee.
