Pavitra Kumar Karki and Prithvi Malla won the titles of the Carlsberg Golf Series here today.

Both the golfers sealed overall titles by winning the third and final leg of the three-match series. Karki bagged the nett category trophy with the total score of 300 points, while Malla bagged the gross section title with the score of 490 points.

Played under stableford 3/4 handicap format, Karki scored 39 points to win the nett section title of the final series, while Navraj Thapa came second with 37 points. Malla won the gross section trophy with 37 points and also bagged the most birdies award with five birdies.

Also, Lt Gen KNS Thapa won the senior category title with 34 points, while Ujin Shim lifted the women’s title with 36 points. Dr Niranjan Sharma bagged the closest-to-the-pin award, while Capt Norbu Sherpa claimed the longest drive trophy.

President of Gokarna Golf Club Suhrid Ghimire among others handed over the prizes to the winners of the tournament.
