Kathmandu, February 12:

KATHMANDU: International Referee and coach Kumar Bahadur Karki is on Tuesday leaving for the US to officiate in the 16th US Open Taekwondo Championship to be held in Orlando, Florida from February 15-18.

The organisers, USA Taekwondo Federation selected Karki as an Official International Referee for the event. National Sports Council member Purendra Bikram Lakhe bade farewell to Karki, who became the first Nepali to be selected for the championships.
