KATHMANDU: Kaustuv and Pentagon advanced to the quarter-finals of the Inter-college Super Cup Cricket Tournament here at the Ultimate Indoors on Friday.

Man-of-the-match Prakash Bista took five wickets and scored 10 runs as Kaustuv defeated Sudur Paschimanchal Academy by 57 runs to finish as Group A winners with six points.

In another match, Pentagon beat Heartland by 56 runs in which Man-of-the-match Naresh Budhayer scored 15 runs and took two wickets for the winning team.

Pentagon accumulated six points to finish as Group B winners. Also, ASCOL registered double

victories.

They edged past Silk Road by 11 runs and outplayed Institute of Medicine by 22 runs. In other matches, Samriddhi defeated Nova by two runs and Heartland College beat Himalaya College of Engineering by six runs.
