KATHMANDU: The Kuwait Badshah Cricket Club won the International Veterans T20 Cricket Bilateral Series here at the TU Stadium on Monday.

The visitors defeated the Nepali veterans team by 27 runs in the third and final match of the series. Batting first, the KBCC posted 201-9 in their allotted 20 overs, while Nepal managed 174-7 in reply. Khurram Shahzad scored 109 for KBCC, while Adith Kumara contributed 37.

Vikash Singh and Kiran Rana took three wickets each for the Nepali team. In reply, Krithartha Shakya scored 63 and Dipendra Chaudhary scored 55 runs for the home side. Jamshaid Azmat and Naeem Shahid grabbed two wickets each for KBCC.

Khurram Shahzad of KBCC was declared the player of the series, while his teammate Jamshaid Azmat was named the best bowler. Kritartha Shakya was adjudged the best batter.

President of the Veteran Cricket Association of Nepal Bijay Sharma among others handed over prizes to the winners of the series.
