KATHMANDU: Nepali player Anisha Khadka won gold medal in the UAE Muay Thai Championship in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Fighting in the women's 71kg weight category, Khadka defeated Nawal Fagir of Sudan in the final, informed Nepal National Muay Thai Association President Ganesh Lal Kakshyapati.
She had advanced to the final with a win over Claire Neil from the United Kingdom.
A total of 150 players took part in the event held from January 27-29.
