Kumari Futsal is organising the first Kumari Women’s Futsal Tournament on Saturday.

A total of 16 teams will compete in the league-cum-knockout tournament, informed Kumar Futsal’s owner Rajan Lal Maharjan at a press meet today.

Lady Lions, Dhuku Futsal Club, G4 Futsal are in Group A, while Boudha Futsal, Golden Girls, Sindhupalchowk FC and NMC are in Group B. Similarly, Group C is made up of New Gen, Go sports, World Wide Contraction and Dynamic, while Thunderbirds, Star Sport, Choel Sum and hosts Kumari Futsal are in Group D.

After the league round matches, top two teams from all four pools will advance to the quarter-finals.

The winners and runners-up of the one-day tournament will get Rs 50,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, while the best player, highest scorer and best goalkeeper will get gift hampers.
