KATHMANDU, AUGUST 4
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming Top End T20 Series in Australia.
In a statement issued today, CAN confirmed that the tournament will be held from August 14 to 24.
Rohit Paudel will lead the team, with Dipendra Singh Airee serving as vice-captain. Hard-hitting allrounder Kushal Malla makes a return to the national side after being left out of the recent tours to the UK and Scotland.
A total of 11 teams, including Nepal, will participate in the fourth edition of the Top End T20 Series, an annual cricket tournament organized by the Northern Territory Cricket Board of Australia.
Nepal's campaign will begin against the hosts, NT Strike, at DXC Arena on August 15. The team will then face the Bangladesh 'A' on August 16, also at DXC Arena.
Nepal is scheduled to take on the academy teams of Melbourne Stars, Hobart Hurricanes, and Melbourne Renegades on August 18, 19, and 20, respectively. The match against the Stars will take place at TIO Stadium, while fixtures against the Hurricanes and Renegades will be played at Cazaly's Arena.
Nepal's final group-stage fixture is set for August 22, where they will face the team representing Pakistan 'A' at DXC Arena.
