LALITUR: Little Angels' School and Triyog High School recorded victories in the 25th Fr Moran Memorial Primary School Invitational Football Tournament here at the SXG grounds on Monday.
Hosts St Xavier's Godavari School and defending champions Maya Universe Academy of Tanahun played a goalless draw in the opening match.
SXG goalkeeper Thangsang Sawa was named the player of the match. In another match, LA defeated Bhaktapur NIST School 5-2. Aayush Man Thapa and player-of-the-match Smit Rawat netted two goals each for LA, while Arnab Rai scored one. Syaron Katwal and Simit Gautam replied for Bhaktapur NIST.
Also, Deniz Thapa scored the solitary goal as Triyog beat Crescent Academy 1-0. Thapa was named the player of the match.
A total of 16 teams are taking part in the tournament organised by SXG School.
