BHAIRAHAWA: Lord Buddha Cricket Club and Boom MCC Cricket Club recorded victories in the first Mayor Cup T20 Running Shield Cricket Tournament at the Siddhartha Stadium on Tuesday.

LBCC defeated Professional Masters by six wickets.

Batting first, Professional Masters were bowled out for 70 runs in 15.2 overs before LBCC raced to 71-4 in 14.4 overs.

Similarly, MCC defeated Buddha Cricket Club by six wickets. Opting to bat first, Buddha were bowled for 85 runs in 18 overs but MCC scored 86-4 in 16.4 overs.
