LALITPUR: Little Angels’ School defeated Shree Krishna Secondary School 4-1 in the opening match of the Kwik’s Cup Inter-school Football Tournament here at the ANFA Complex on Friday.

Munal Thapa scored a hat-trick, while Bishnu Pun added one goal for LA. Niran Lama scored the consolation goal of Shree Krishna.

Earlier, Secretary at Ministry of Youth and Sports Krishna Prasad Devkota, All Nepal Football Association President Karma Tsering Sherpa and Chaudhary Group General Manager Lal Babu Prasad among others inaugurated the tournament. Around 1,400 school teams will compete in the tournament which will be played in 52 districts.
