Carlsberg and Liverpool partnership is the longest running and the most successful at the elite level of the international club level football. Both have one thing in common: both are probably the best in their respective fields.

As for Liverpool, they are the most successful club in the English football scenario. Liverpool have won record 18 first division titles, seven FA Cup titles, seven League Cup titles, five European Cup titles and three UEFA Cup titles. The latest win being the Champions League in 2005 and FA Cup in 2006.

This season Liverpool finished third in the English Premier League 2006-2007 and will take on AC Milan in the Champions League final at Olympic stadium, Athens, Greece on May 23.

Carlsberg’s presence in international football dates back to 1990 when it became the official sponsor of the World Cup in Italy.
