KATHMANDU: Madan Bhandari Sports Academy is organising the first Madan Sports Cup Nine-a-side Veteran Football Tournament in Matatirtha from December 31 to January 6, next year.

A total of 16 teams will take part in the competition, informed Binod Shrestha, President of the Academy, at a press meet on Friday.

“We have been organising this tournament to bring veteran footballers at the same arena and provide the young footballers with learning opportunities,” said Shrestha.

Top two teams will earn Rs 100,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.
