LALITPUR: Ronisha Maharjan won the women's singles gold medal in the Lalitpur Districtwide Table Tennis Tournament under the Sports Festival here on Tuesday. Maharjan of Kantipur Pingpong Valley Club defeated Asmita School's Yongi Paudel 4-3 in the final.
ANS 1980 Club's Ankita Bajracharya finished third. Likewise, Jagdishwor Prasad Joshi of KPVC won the above-60 veteran singles title with a 3-0 victory over APM Club's Roshan Pradhan.
Suman Khadgi and Dharmendra Raj Shakya finished joint third. Earlier, Province Assembly Member of Bagmati Province Meen Krishna Maharjan inaugurated the tournament organized by Lalitpur District Sports Development Committee.
