Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club on Wednesday distributed financial assistance to the family members of late Suman Bhomjan and other sports journalists affected by the April 25 earthquake.

MMC President Jimi Gurung Salim and Manang Society President Sonam Gurung handed over Rs 30,000 to the family of Bhomjan and Rs 5,500 each to NSJF President Ajay Phuyal, Vice-president Dhruba Tuladhar and members Govinda Regmi, Firoj Rajopadhyay, Sonika Aryal, Prajwal Shakya, Rajesh Bhandari and Somraj Pokhrel.

MMC General Secretary Karma Gurung informed the club had distributed relief worth Rs 12.6 million each in Sindhupalchowk and Dolakha, Rs 250,000 in Dhading, Rs 15 million in Nuwakot, Rs 800,000 in Kavre, Rs 700,000 in Lamjung, Rs 1.5 million in Tanahun, Rs 600,000 in Kaski and Rasuwa and Rs 300,000 in Kathmandu.
