Mayanka Rana won the U-18 girls’ singles title of the first ANLTA-JTI National Junior Tennis Tournament here at the Satdobato Tennis Complex today.

Rana defeated Abhilasha Bista 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 and claimed the trophy. A total of four players competed in the category played under round robin format. Mahika Rana finished second with a 6-4, 6-4 win against Bijisha Shrestha. Abhilasha Bista and Bijisha Shrestha were third and fourth respectively.

Aarav Samrat Hada recorded a 6-1, 6-0 win against Pranav Manandhar in boys’ U-10 category final match and claimed the title.

Similarly, Prasamsa Moktan beat Eva Adhikari 6-4, 7-6(5) and Roshani Limbu outplayed Sunira Thapa 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 to advance to the U-10 girls’ singles final.

Also, Samrakshyak Bhushan Bajracharya and Pranav Khanal advanced to boys’ U-16 category final. Bajracharya defeated Samragya Katawal 6-1, 6-0 and Khanal recorded a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Samyak Bhushan Bajracharya in the semi-final matches.
