Manang Marsyangdi Club (MMC) defeated City Yong Club of India 1-0 and entered the semi-finals of the Aaha Gold Cup Football tournament here today.

After a lackluster goalless first half, Tashi Tshering of Manang Marsyangdi Club scored the winner in the 75th minute of the match following a cross from his teammate Rajesh Shahi.

The rain affected the match. Players had to use hard efforts even to take the ball under control. Manoj of the Indian team was injured during the match. Basanta Thapa and Nabin Neupane of Manang Marsyangdi Club muffed up scoring opportunities in the match.

Pravin of the Indian team was shown yellow card in the match. Rajesh Shahi of Manang Marsyangdi Club was declared the man of the match.
