LALITPUR: Little Angels’ School, GEMS and St Xavier’s Jhapa registered victories in the 24th Fr Moran Memorial Inter-school Invitational Football Tournament here at the St Xavier’s Godavari School grounds on Thursday.

Little Angles’ earned a walkover win after Chandbagh School did not turn out for the match, while GEMS defeated Bright Future 3-0 riding on goals from Aashish Pandey, Prabhakar Yadav and Sworna Gurung.

GEMS goalie Sarjan Khatri was named the man of the match.

Likewise, Samar Nagarkoti scored the solitary goal as St Xavier’s Jhapa beat Pushpanjali School 1-0.

St Xavier’s goalkeeper Bimarsha Proja won the man-of-the-match award.
