KATHMANDU: Morang defeated Kailali 3-0 and entered the semi-finals of the Women’s Open Football Tournament on Friday. Rupa Magar struck twice while Bimala Subba netted one goal for Morang, who will face APF on Saturday.

In other matches, Panchthar beat Makaw-anpur 6-2, whereas Bara outscored Dhankuta 2-0 in tie breaker after a 1-1 draw and Kathmandu beat Ilam 2-1. Asha Bega and Diya Gurung scored two goals each and Bishnu Tamang and Deepa Thapa netted one apiece for Panchthar. Bhawana KC and Kamala Khanal scored one goal each in Kathmandu’s win, while Samrachana Pradhan got a goal for Ilam.
