Lead Climbing C’ship
KATHMANDU: Nepal Climbing Sport Association is organising the National Lead Climbing Championship to mark the seventh Mountain Sports Festival here on Saturday.
A total of 46 players — 33 men and 13 women — will take part in the one-day tournament at the Kathmandu Sport Climbing Centre in Thamel, informed NCSA General Secretary Megha Raj Paudel. Top three climbers will earn Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
The NCSA has nominated American technical official Cooper May to finalise the route and named executive committee member Tulsing Gurung as the chief jury.
