Gym gear unveiled
KATHMANDU: The Youth and Sports Minister Ganesh Tiwari Nepali unveiled the modern gym equipments of the Nepal Byayam Mandir in Jyatha on Wednesday. The gymnasium which was established in 1954, have bought the sophisticated equipments worth Rs 2 million, informed gym's president Narayan Pradhan. On the occasion, Pradhan presented a token of love to Minister Nepali and the National Sports Council member Samim Miya Ansari.
NNIPA’s appeal
KATHMANDU: The Nepal National and International Players' Association (NNIPA) on Wednesday drew the attention of the National Sports Council (NSC) of the mismanagement of the fund collected for the renovation of stadium in Biratnagar. The NNIPA appealed for investigation and demanded action against the guilty. “Under the pretext of renovation, a group of people organised various fund raising programmes but the money has not been utilised properly yet,” NNIPA said.
