KATHMANDU: Nepal Squash Rackets Association is organising the fifth Dhanalaxmi Memorial National Squash Tournament from August 6-12 at the NSRA Squash Academy in Lalitpur.
The tournament features five events - men's singles, women's singles, boys' U-19, masters open (above-50) and plate championship, informed the organisers at a press meet on Thursday.
More than 100 players will take part in the annual event organised by NSRA under the auspices of Dhanalaxmi Maharjan Foundation, established by NSRA's patron and former president Kishore Maharjan in memory of his mother.
The tournament, recognised by National Sports Council and Nepal Olympic Committee, carries a cash purse of Rs 200,000.
