TANAHUN: Hosts Navadeep Youth Club defeated New Generation Youth Club 4-0 in the opening match of the second Navadeep Seven-a-side Open Football Tournament here on Tuesday.

A total of 21 teams are taking part in the tournament. The top two teams will receive Rs 30,333 and Rs 15,555 respectively.

The best player and highest scorer will also be awarded, informed President of the Club Sanjit Kafle. Earlier, Nepali Congress District Secretary Bal Krishna Ghimire inaugurated the tournament.
