LALITPUR: Nepal Engineering College ‘A’ thrashed Kaasthamandap 11-1 in the final of the football tournament held under the Little Angels’ Cup here on Sunday.

Nirajan Bikram Gaire scored five goals alone, while Suraj Budhathoki and Kishan Adhikari netted two each. Anurag Budhathoki and Sandesh Silwal scored one apiece, while Samir Jung Karki netted the consolation goal for Kaasthamandap. NEC received Rs 15,000 and a Colors mobile set, while Kaasthamandap earned Rs 12,000.

Nirajan Bikram Gaire was named the best player, while his NEA teammates Santosh Gaire and Kishan Adhikari were declared the best goalkeeper and highest scorer respectively. Soheil Tamrakar of LA received the best defender’s award.
