Female lifter wins bronze to open Nepal's medal account in 12th SAG
KATHMANDU: Nepal on Saturday bagged their first medal in the 12th South Asian Games in Guwahati of India with female athlete Devi Kumari Chaudhary winning bronze medal in weightlifting.
Chaudhary won the bronze medal in women's 53kg weight category on the first day of the competitions.
In the category, India and Sri Lanka won the gold and silver medals respectively.
