KATHMANDU: Nepal advanced to the final of the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship at the Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Nepal came from behind to defeat India 3-1 in the third and final match of the league round to make it to the final.

India took the lead in the 21st minute when Apurna Narzary found the back of the nets.

Anjali chand levelled the scores in the 48th minute. Skipper Preeti Rai put Nepal ahead in the 69th minute, while Amisha Karki sealed the victory in the 89th minute.

Nepal, who lost 3-1 against hosts Bangladesh in the opening match, beat Bhutan 4-0 in the second match.

Nepal will face Bangladesh, who topped the league stage with seven points, in the final.
