Nepal's Ghimire elected as second VP of World Blind Cricket

Kathmandu, February 2

Chairman of Cricket Association of Blind, Nepal Pawan Ghimire has been elected as the second vice-president of World Blind Cricket Limited, formerly known as the World Blind Cricket Council.

According to General Secretary of CAB-Nepal Bimal Paudel, Ghimire was proposed by the West Indies and seconded by India for the post.

Mahentesh GK of India and Ramon Moxly of Australia were elected as the President and Secretary General respectively of the WBCL, which is the umbrella organisation of the blind cricket playing countries of the world.

The 19th AGM, which was held in New Delhi on January 31 on the sidelines of the T20 World Cup for Blinds, also decided to organise the fifth ODI Blind Cricket World Cup in Dubai in January next year.
