Nepal in Group A
KATHMANDU: Nepal were drawn in Group ‘A’ of the qualifying tournament of the AFC Futsal Championship.
Nepal, who are participating in the first-ever international futsal event, are up against Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, said All Nepal Football Association on its website.
The tournament is slated for October 13-22 in Iran.
Nepal will open the campaign with a match against Uzbekistan on October 15 before facing Kyrgyzstan the following day.
Nepal will then play against Turkmenistan on October 17. ANFA is organising the maiden Futsal League in August to select the team.
