Nepal, Malaysia to play friendly football in March
KATHMANDU: The national teams of Nepal and Malaysia will play a friendly football game in Kuala Lumpur on March 29, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said on Tuesday.
According to ANFA, the Football Association of Malaysia invited Nepal's national football team for the friendly.
It would be an opportunity for the Nepali team, which recently won the Bangabandhu Gold Cup in Dhaka in January, to prepare for the upcoming SAFF Championship, according to ANFA.
As the senior team does not have international tournaments for two years, ANFA will be keeping them busy with international friendlies in between, ANFA added.
A preliminary squad will be called up in the first week of March.
