National Director Sowyamvu Raj Dangol to represent Nepal at WMAC World Convention and Referee Seminar

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 21

The Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) on Wednesday bade farewell to Sowyamvu Raj Dangol, National Director of the World Martial Arts Committee (WMAC) Nepal, as he prepares to represent the country at the WMAC World Convention and International Referee Seminar 2026 in Austria.

The prestigious international event is scheduled to be held from January 23 to 25 at the Polytechnische Schule in Bregenz, Austria. Dangol has received an official invitation from the World Martial Arts Committee to participate in the convention alongside the WMAC Nepal team.

During the farewell programme, NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha extended his best wishes to Dangol for a successful journey and commended his dedication and contributions to the growth and promotion of martial arts in Nepal. He expressed confidence that Dangol would represent Nepal with professionalism and distinction on the global stage.

The WMAC World Convention and Referee Seminar brings together martial arts officials, referees and practitioners from around the world, providing a platform for technical exchange, standard-setting and international collaboration in martial arts.
