LALITPUR: Nepal Police Club teams advanced to the finals of the 14th National Lawn Tennis Tournament under the NSC Championship here at the Satdobato Tennis Complex on Tuesday.

NPC defeated Western Regin 2-1 in the men’s team event semi-finals, while their women’s team registered a 3-0 victory over the same opponents to make it to the final. Nepal APF Club entered the women’s team event semi-finals with a walkover win from Central Region, while Tribhuvan Army Club made it to the men’s team semis wth a 3-0 victory over Central.

A total of 39 players from Western, Central and Far-western Region and departmental teams NPC, TAC and APF are taking part in the tournament that features seven events. Earlier, President of All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association Jyoti Rana inaugurated the tournament.
