Nepal to play U-19 WC Qualifiers
KATHMANDU: The International Cricket Council on Sunday announced the road map for the ICC U-19 World Cup to be held in 2022 in the West Indies.
The Nepali youth team will take part in the Asian Qualifiers in the United Arab Emirates next year. Nepal, UAE and Malaysia will be joined by the two qualifiers from Asia Division-II in the five-team event that will send the winners in the World Cup.
Bhutan, Hong Kong, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Thailand will compete in Division-II qualifiers.
Five regional winners will join 11 Test playing nations except for Ireland in the World Cup. As per the ICC, Ireland will participate in Europe Qualifiers.
