POKHARA: New Diamond Academy beat Nepal APF Club in straight sets to lift the title of the National Women’s Volleyball Tournament here at Lamachaur on Sunday. New Diamond recorded a 30-28, 25-15, 25-20 win against APF to win the fourth straight title. Pratibha Mali was at her best earning 25 points alone for New Diamond. Tops HS School defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 25-16, 25-12, 25-15 to finish third. The top three teams received Rs 75,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively. Nawa Adarsha Community Welfare Society organised the tournament to mark Teej festival.
