RUPANDEHI: New Horizon School registered a nine-wicket victory against Buddha Cricket Club here on Sunday. Batting first, Buddha Cricket Club were bowled out for a paltry 69 runs in 32.1 overs, while New Horizon raced to victory losing just one wicket in 19.1 overs. Pravej Alam top scored for Buddha with 16 runs, while Rijan Praju scored 15. For New Horizon, Shakti Gauchan and Ganesh Gaudel took three wickets each, while Devendra Somare claimed two. In reply, Nurdhoj Sen and Sagar Pun remained unbeaten on 30 and nine runs respectively, while Kusal Malla scored 16 for New Horizon. Kulendra Pun, Member of Cricket Association of Rupandehi handed over the man-of-the-match award to New Horizon’s Ganesh Gaudel.
