NIBL Friends’ Club to open academy

Kathmandu, December 18:

The ‘A’ Division football outfit, NIBL Friends’ Club, is establishing Junior Football Academy (JFA) in their bid to support football and produce quality players.

As their first step towards their endevour, the Lalitpur-based club is at present training 30 children to give shape to the academy. The club said they are planning to take two age-group children in their academy — 10-12yrs and 12-14yrs. In the second phase of the project, the club has planned to search for talanted children from all around the country and bring them to residential facility for training. The official opening of the academy is scheduled for Friday at the Engineering Campus grounds.
