Kantipur Publications entered the quarter-finals of the ninth SCP Super Sixes cricket tournament on Friday. Kantipur defeated Gorkha Brewery by 39 runs and Spice Nepal by five wickets. Surya Nepal, Himalayan Bank and Embassy of India have already made it to the last eight.

In other matches, Shikhar Insurance beat Spice Nepal by five wickets; Surya Nepal outplayed NIC Bank by five wickets; Chaudhary Group beat Nepal Investment Bank by 19 runs; Standard Chartered beat British Gurkhas by six wickets; Chaudhary Group edged past Nabil Bank by 11 runs; Bank of Kathmandu defeated Prisma Advertising by 27 runs; NIC Bank beat British Gurkhasby six wickets; and the match between Bank of Kathmandu and Nepal Merchant Bank ended in a tie after both the teams scored 76/1.
