Kathmandu, September 24:

Nirajan Rayamajhi struck a hat-trick as New Road Team (NRT) defeated local Baglung-XI 4-1 in a friendly match played in Baglung under the tour, managed by Nepa~laya, today.

Laxman Ruchal gave the touring team the early 11th minute lead but Doran Sherchan scored the equaliser in the 57th minute for Baglung. Rayamajhi then scored all three goals late in the game to wrap up the their seventh match played as part of their national tour.

Travelling national coaches also conducted football clinic for 30 local children today. FIFA referees conducted referee workshop for 10 aspiring local referees.

The ‘A’ Division outfit NRT will now travel to Gorkha where they will play last of their eighth friendly match against Gorkha-XI on Saturday.
