SAN ANTONIO: Jia Perkins scored 32 points as the San Antonio Stars beat the Seattle Storm 88-81 in the WNBA on Saturday. Perkins was 11 of 18 from the floor, 8 of 8 from the line and had five assists in the game between the two worst teams in the Western Conference. Kayla McBride added 20 points and Sophia Young-Malcolm had 14. Seattle used a 14-5 run at the start of the third to draw even at 48, but San Antonio responded with an 8-2 spurt and led by five at the end of the quarter.
