Players' phones stolen

WASHINGTON: Several DC United players had their phones stolen in a locker room break-in during a recent match in Mexico. DC fell 2-0 to Queretaro in the first game of the CONCACAF Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday. Following the match, the team found that a "handful" of phones were missing from the dressing room, according to a club statement. CONCACAF and Queretaro were both made aware of the situation. Queretaro has apologised and offered to purchase replacements for the stolen devices. DC United and Queretaro play the second and final game of their quarter-final on Tuesday night in Washington.
