KATHMANDU: Minister for Youth and Sports Jagat Bahadur Sunar and National Sports Council Member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista on Sunday congratulated Nepali women’s handball team for winning silver medal in the fifth South Asian Handball Championship in India last week.

Nepal beat Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Bhutan before going down to India in the round robin event played among five teams.

This is the first international medal for Nepal.
